    OKTAL-SE has provided simulation tools both for MBDA and the French MOD for the development, validation and qualification of infrared seeker heads of missiles. The simulation tool and the system have been accepted by the SCALP missile program.

    Electro-optic (visible and infrared), radio-frequency or laser sensor systems are usually difficult to simulate due to the complexity of the required synthetic environment modelling. OKTAL-SE suite of software enables the creation of realistic synthetic descriptions of multispectral environments. The priority of the software is to provide physically accurate 3D database as well as database of physical materials. The usage of ray tracing and 3D graphic board techniques for the scene analysis enables the generation of high quality scenes of complex scenarios.
